Our Team

Gary has dedicated his entire professional career to the automotive industry. He has been with Roy Nichols Motors since 1996. He began as a New Car Sales consultant and due to his priceless years of experience advanced to our General Manager. Prior to his current position he was employed by GM for many years, and spent time in the engineering, production and quality departments. Roy Nichols Motors is fortunate to sponsor a few soccer, hockey and baseball teams, and Gary gets a kick out of going and cheering on our teams. He also attends many of the Mosport races on Saturday nights at the oval track where you will find the Roy Nichols Motors Pace Car. Scott has been in the auto industry since 1986. He joined Roy Nichols Motors in 2003, originally hired as our Used Car Manager and is now currently our New Car Sales Manager. In 2008, Scott was a volunteer of the year award winner at Oshawa Kicks. He enjoys coaching his sons in both Hockey and Soccer in his spare time. I have been in automobile sales for 20 years, selling General Motors vehicles for 18 of those years. I am a GM Qualified Truck & Trailering Specialist. With a Certificate from the Truck Marketing Institute. I am a member of the General Motors Prestigous Sales Marketing Guild, which recognizes sales professionals for outstanding customer service and automobile sales. I am a lover of the outdoors, fishing and 4-Wheeling with my sons as time will allow.

Brian has been in the automotive industry since 1995. We were lucky enough to get Brian on staff in 2009. Throughout the summer he enjoys kayaking and fishing and during the winter snowmobiling. Brian is our Internet Sales Consultant. He handles all new car online inquires and requests for quotes. He specializes in new car sales and fleet sales. Don has been in the automotive industry since 1979, and has spent all of those years as a loyal, hard working member of the Roy Nichols Motors sales team. Don appreciates any time he can get away and head up to the trailer, where he enjoys boating and fishing. Don is also an avid golfer, spending many summer days on the links. He has been recognised by the Sales Marketing Guild for over 30 years, which is an outstanding accomplishment. Don considers Trucks and Trailering his field of specialty. Thanks to his unwavering dedication as an enthusiastic member of our sales team, it has resulted in many repeat and referral customer. Don is an honorable, patient, and faithful sales consultant that is always looking to help existing and new clients.

Jim has been in the automotive industry since 1981. He spent 8 years at General Motors in the Truck Plant. After leaving GM luckily for us Jim decided to join the Roy Nichols Motors sales team. Jim spent time as our Used Car Manager, but found he was truly happiest serving his customers on the sales floor. Each summer he participates in the "RIDE TO CONQUOR CANCER" raising money to help a wonderful cause. In his spare time chances are you will find Jim out on the golf course. He also enjoys restoring his 1977 Corvette. Jim has been recognized by the Sales Marketing Guild for over 17 years. Jim is an extremely knowledgeable sales consultant who takes all the crucial steps in ensuring his customers are taken care of. He is always going that extra mile for his co workers and customers alike.

Richard recently retired from General Motors after 32 years of dedicated service. Richards joined the Roy Nichols Motors Sales Team in 2007. While at General Motors he discovered a passion for maintaining quality control, a passion he prides himself on to this day. Richard remains up to date on the day to day operations of General Motors and is considered an inhouse specialist. He enjoys spending time with his grand children participating in their hockey and locrosse teams.He also has a great interest in antique cars and motorcyles. Richard believes in being honest with his customers, and promises that if he doesn't know an answer he will seek it out.

Cathy has been in the automotive industry since 1972. Cathy started at Roy Nichols Motors in 1982 spending 22 years as Service Manager. She has accomplished over 10 years in the Service Marketing Guild. Cathy enjoys 4 wheeling, spending time at her trailer and most of all doting over her grandchildren. Cathys main focus is meeting all of her customers needs. She is able to offer the best deals in the business while maintaining the highest lever of integrity.

Rick has been in the automotive industry since 1993. He joined the Roy Nichols Motors Sales Team in 1996. Rick has accomplished 11 plus years in the Sales Marketing Guild. Rick cares about each and every customer that he has the pleasure of dealing with. He enjoys listening and responding to his customers needs. Rick enjoys taking the extra mile to ensure all his customers walk away happy, having had all of their needs met.

Tim has been in the automotive industry since 1984, and joined the Roy Nichols Sales Team on July 16th 1987. Tim is an active member in his community and took part is establishing a Pontypool lions club. Tim often spends his weekends off and holidays in the summer at the Glen Allen Trailer Park in Marmora with his wife and two children. He also looks forward to the long winter months as he is an avid snowmobiler and loves going out on many long rides. Tim is GM Pro certified and has been acknowledged by the Sales Marketing Guild for over 16 years. He considers his specialty to be in Trucks and Trailering. Tim is very family oriented and is dedicated to this business and his clientel. He is always willing to speak to new customers, and would appreciate the opportunity to introduce you to the great service her provides.

Gary Sherban has been involved in the automotive industries Finance Departments since 1980. He has been an instrumental part of the Roy Nichols Motors finance dept since 1993. Gary enjoys spending his time off time with his family at Balsam Lake up at the trailer. His children have always been involved in various competitive sports, and Gary has always been very supportive and encouraging. He has spent all his years at Roy Nichols Motors as our Business Manager, and thus has the knowledge and experience to answer any and all financial questions. He has received a multitude of awards through his years of dedicated service. Gary has lived in Courtice for the past 30 years and welcomes his customers and neighbours to come in to our dealership and experience all the wonderful services we provide.

Returning to the Roy Nichols Motors Team is George Pearn. He has been in the automotive industry since 2000. He has spent time with us as a Business Manager, and is now our Used Car Manager. George is an active member of the Oshawa Skeet and Gun Club. He enjoys spending time off with his 4 beautiful daughters. He has been honored by the Sales Marketing Guild for over 3 years. George wants to share that there is over 100 years combined experience in our Used Car Department, and we have only the most reputable consultants on staff. Peter has been in the automotive industry since 1970. He has been a part of the Roy Nichols Team since 1980. He was our New Car Sales Manager for an impressive 25 years! Looking for a change of pace Peter decided he would step down as Manager and join our Used Car Dept. He has since excelled in this dept, as he very much enjoys working with our customers on a one on one level. During the summer it is difficult to get Peter off the golf course! Although he is also an avid boater. He has been honored by the Sales Managers Marketing guild 25 time, which is an outstanding accomplishment. Peter has a knowledge of vehicles that only come with years of experience, and would like the opportunity to share this knowledge with new and existing customers.

Bob has been in the automotive parts industry since 1985. He has been at Roy Nichols Motors since 1993. He began as a Parts Specialist and worked his way up to our Parts Manager. During his spare time Bob coaches indoor and outdoor soccer. He is also a member of the Brooktin Soccer club committee. Bob has a vast knowledge of GM parts, and feel confident he could answer any and all questions that our customers might have. We have highly qualified parts specialists on staff that eagerly await assisting our customers with their parts needs. Please feel free to contact Bob or any of his staff if you have any inquiries.

Hugh has been in the Automotive Parts Industry since 1965. He joined the Roy Nichols Parts Team 2004, with an extensive knowledge of GM Parts. Before coming to Roy Nichols Motors he spent 8 years working at GM as a NPN Technician. There he would aid dealers in determining what parts were needed for their specific problem, and then aid in locating them. With this experience behind him Hugh in confident that he can apply the same knowledge and assistance to his valued customers. Our Parts Specialist are here to establish a rapport with our customers in person and on the phone, asking questions that help to locate the needed parts or service in which customers might be interested.

Art is our Service Manager

Sean has been in the Automotive Service Industry since 2003. He joined the Roy Nichols Service Team in 2007. He graduated with honors from Durham College with a certificate in "Automotive Service and Management". After graduation Sean spent 4 years working at Tire manufacturer where he gained extensive knowledge of GM Goodwrench Tires, and now considers that his speciality. Our service advisors are here to advise and consult with customers on vehicle service needs and have an expertise in building customer confidence in their vehicle and the dealership.

Ron has been in the Automotive Service Industry since 1994. He joined the Roy Nichols Motors Service Team in 2009. He obtained a Automotive Training Certificate from " The Career Training Association and National Association of Career Colleges" with a focus in: Service Consultant Technical Training, GM Features, and Cadillac Features. Our service advisors are here to advise and consult with customers on vehicle service needs and have an expertise in building customer confidence in their vehicle and the dealership.

Terry joins the Roy Nichols Motors Service Team having spent 7 years in the car rental industry and 11 years in the auto parts industry. He has been in the customer service industry for over 26 years. Terry is committed to making customers smile and feel appreciated for the business they do at our store.

His hobbies include: filming and editing satire movies with his boys.

Wayde has been in the automotive service industry since 1985. He recently came to Roy Nichols , and has become an integral part of the service team. Wayde has been a licenced car, truck and coach technician with diesel endorsements for over 25 years. He has taught automotive technical courses while working in Detroit, and passes this knowledge and experience on to his customers. Wayde has also served as a technical consultant for General Motors. In his spare time Wayde coaches minor hockey, and has served as a board member of the Children's Aid Society. With his extensive background in the service industry he considers himself to be a Technical Specialist.Our service advisors are here to advise and consult with customers on vehicle service needs and have an expertise in building customer confidence in their vehicle and the dealership.

Peter has been in the Automotive industry since 1968. He became our Bodyshop Manager in 2007. Through his years of experience he has taking many training courses including WHIMIS training and First Aid Training. Peter also has a class A Mechanic license, was a Fleet Manager for a large Ontario Dairy chain, was a Fixed Operation Manager for 5 years, was a Service Manager for 10 years, and a Body Shop Manager for 18 years. With this list of accomplishment there is no doubt that he can easily assist all his customers with their various needs. Peter explains that "We meet the nicest people, by accident"

Gary has been in the Bodyshop portion of the automotive industry for 8 years. He joined the Roy Nichols Body Shop team in 2010, and brings with him an enthusiastic attitude. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and understanding to our customers needs.
